Specifically, the organization promotes and advances the following: education; interest and participation in the contemporary visual arts through exhibitions by established and emerging artists; art festivals featuring local and national artists; special events and art collecting opportunities; and educational programs for adults and youth. The von Liebig Art Center reaches 100,000 people annually through its on-site and outreach programs.

Founded in 1954, The Naples Art Association was responsible for the construction of The von Liebig Art Center which is located downtown on city land. The non-profit organization presents four national and six local art festivals annually. The highly successful Naples National Art Festival which it sponsors is now in its 31st year and has been ranked “The 8th Best Art Festival in the Country” by Sunshine Artist magazine.

The von Liebig Art Center: The von Liebig Art Center was designed by Naples architect Alfred French and opened in November 1998.
