Please don't be misled--Pink Ribbons Crusade is not all work and no play. When the "Pink Ladies" get together, they somehow manage to squeeze in some fun. Traditionally a "set-up" takes about two weeks (though the Queen Mary exhibition required three) while a "tear down" usually lasts over a week. During these large blocks of "work days," the ladies basically "eat and sleep" Pink Ribbons. But they've been known to "steal away" for a few hours to celebrate a volunteer's birthday; share beauty tips; visit nearby tourist attractions; or get "dolled up" for an Opening Night Gala in celebration of a job well done. And as you see, the PRC Gang has even visited London on two occasions to proudly view the charity's Princess Diana Dresses on display at Kensington Palace, Diana's former home.
