The Exhibit: Diana, Legacy of a Princess
Pink Ribbons Crusade was thrilled to be the
major attraction on board the historic Queen Mary.
What an opportunity for the charity to raise funds to fight Breast
Cancer while being part of a world-renowned legend. The Pink Ribbons
Collection iwas housed in beautiful space totally "recaptured" from a
recent renovation. There guests saw a newly-created exhibition which
featured over a thousand Royal historical items as well as nine of
Princess Diana's dresses. The exhibit was a motivating history lesson
that entertained by telling the story of the Windsor Family from Queen
Mary through the world's favorite young Royals--William, Kate, and
Harry. The Queen Mary is permanently docked in Long Beach,
California and is the area's major tourist attraction. It is also a
floating luxury hotel that allows guests to step back in time to
experience the "Golden Age" of trans-Atlantic crossings. So keep
flipping through this website to learn more about Pink Ribbons Crusade,
the talented volunteers at its core, and the legendary ship which
proudly hosted its exhibition.
